Dan toch herfst met The Gaslight Anthem

In de aanloop naar het album 'History Books', dat op 27 oktober verschijnt, is er al een nieuwe single

Autumn heet de nieuwe track van The Gaslight Anthem en over deze track zegt frontman Brian Fallon: “I wrote that song on a really beautiful fall day, looking out the window and thinking, How many days like this do we get to see? So much of life is just trying to get by, but every now and then you have those moments where you can really feel grateful for the small things.”

Op 'History Books' staan in totaal tien nummers, waarin de rockband uit New Jersey thema's zoals mentale gezondheid en menselijke verbondenheid verkent. Het album is geproducet door Peter Katis, bekend van werk met The National, Interpol en Kurt Vile. 

Live kan je The Gaslight Anthem aan het werk zien in Brussel, Ancienne Belgique, op 14 maart en in Utrecht, TivoliVredenburg, op 16 maart. Tickets voor die concerten zijn al te koop.
