Voormalig drummer van The Cure overleden
Andy Anderson (links op de foto) was drummer bij The Cure in 1983 en 1984, hij speelde onder meer mee op de legendarische liveplaat 'Concert: The Cure live'.
“Hi guys, I am and have Terminal 4 Cancer, and there is no way of returning back from that, it’s totally covering the inside of my body, and I’m totally fine and aware of my situation,” he wrote adding that he will now be undergoing treatment for the illness" liet de achtenzestigjarige muzikant onlangs zelf nog weten.
Anderson kwam bij The Cure toen Lol Tolhurst de drums ruilde voor de keyboards en werkte mee aan platen als 'The Top'. Hij was ook te horen op de singles The Caterpillar, Love Cats en Japanese Whispers.
Nadat hij bij The Cure wegging werkte Darson ook nog samen met onder meer Iggy Pop.
