Voorkom corona, luister naar The Vaccines

Op 17 en 18 januari kan je je broodnodige dosis zelf afhalen.

De Britse indierockband The Vaccines brengt op 12 januari het zesde studioalbum 'Pick-Up Full Of Pink Carnations' uit. Je kan opnieuw rekenen op sixties-geïnspireerde gitaarpop met de nodige new wave-invloeden. Samen met de albumaankondiging is er ook eerste single Heartbreak Kid, die je hieronder kan beluisteren. 

Frontman Justin Young zegt over Heartbreak Kid: “There are two types of people in the world - people that have had their heart broken and people that haven’t had their heart broken yet. Heartbreak Kid is a call to arms, a reminder that in a world where too many of us feel too detached too often, facing your feelings head on can make you feel more alive, even if it feels like the world is ending. It’s a song to keep you company on the busy freeway that connects loss to discovery.”

In de zomer stonden ze nog op Cactusfestival. En binnenkort kan je The Vaccines aan het werk zien op 17 januari in Paradiso Amsterdam en daags nadien in de Brusselse Ancienne Belgique.
