The xx cureert het 'International Documentary Film Festival'

The xx gaat (onder de noemer 'I See You') een deel van het 'International Documentary Film Festival' in Kopenhagen cureren.

De band maakte een selectie van documentairefilms die voornamelijk over de thema's identity, gender, performance, youth culture en LGBTIQ gaan.

Onder meer Francis Lee’s 'God’s Own Country', Matt Hougton’s kortfilm 'Landline' en Matt Wolf’s portret van Arthur Russell komen aan bod.

“These films mean so much to me on a personal level, but at the same time touch on so many of the issues, narratives and passions that are so important to the band as a whole”, aldus Oliver Sim van The xx.
