Slim Cessna's Auto Club presenteert nieuw werk

Op 31 mei verschijnt 'Kinnery Of Lupercalia: Buell Legion'.

Daarmee vervolledigt Slim Cessna's Auto Club de trilogie rond het magische land van Lupercalia.

"This album captures the perfect balance between our studio and live sound", legt Munly J. Munly uit. De plaat kwam tot stand tijdens de pandemie, toen Munly het skelet van de songs voorlegde aan de leden van de band, die ze dan verder van vlees en bloed voorzagen.

Drummer Andrew Warner licht toe: "While the world was falling apart, I was happily building up many different versions of these songs with input and help from the rest of the band. So, I suppose I have this album to thank for my relative sanity".

De band komt dat nieuwe album trouwens drie keer voorstellen in België, met name in Luik, (Reflektor, 14 juni), Diksmuide (4AD, 15 juni) en Brussel (Botanique, 24 juni). Een mooie kans om deze unieke band nog eens aan het werk te zien.
