Rozi Plain heeft prijs

De artieste kondigt het nieuwe album 'Prize' aan met de video voor de eerste single daaruit.

Vier albums heeft Rozi Plain al op het actief, zorgvuldig samengesteld in de DIY-scene in Bristol samen met Kate Stables van This Is The Kit en Rachael Dadd of het bruisende hart van Londen. Daar komt er nu dus nog eentje bij en daarvoor omringde ze zich met een keur aan muzikanten. Jamie Whitby Coles, Kate Stables, Amaury Ranger, Gerard Black, Cole Pulice, Serafina Steer, Danalogue ( The Comet Is Coming / Soccer 96), Yoshino Shigihara van Yama Warashi, Emma Smith en Alabaster dePlume tekenen allemaal present.

Op eerste single, Agreeing For Two, is oude maatje Kate Stables te horen op achtergrondzang en Alabaster dePlume op sax. Zelf zegt ze er dit over: "This song was started when I spent a week on the Isle of Eigg writing new music.  Mainly it’s thinking about how easy it can be to unknowingly make decisions on behalf of other people, thinking you might know what’s best or right for a situation where as maybe it’s just what was easiest for you… I love the saxophone line that Alabaster Deplume added – brings a bit of his trademark heart and hopefulness.”
