Randall Dunn (Sunn0))), Earth, Tim Hecker,...) gaat solo

Hij was muzikant, producer en/of engineer bij onder meer Sunn0))), Earth, Tim Hecker, Six Organs of Admittance, Anna Von Hausswolff en meer, maar onlangs bracht Randall Dunn zijn eerste soloplaat, 'Beloved' uit. En daarbij hoort nu ook een video.

 

Zeven songs puurde hij uit een periode van verandering, en verlies. En dat is er ook in de video voor Something About That Night aan te merken.

 

Zelf zei Randall over de video: "I found a common ground in our two cultures current socio-political climates and in the themes of the song - loneliness, loss, and the feeling of human connection's absence. Mu expressed these sentiments through a compassionate character study of two people who are making their way through a lonely night with all of the pressures of our current age."
