Première: Deerborn - Can't Find My Way

Vier jaar na hun goed ontvangen debuutplaat is de Deense rockband Deerborn terug met een nieuwe plaat.

Uit die plaat, waarvan de heren de titel voorlopig nog voor zich houden, was er al de donkere eerste single Where Demons Hide. Die kwam aan als een vuist in de maag, maar nu komen ze met het gevoelige en aangrijpende Can’t Find My Way.

Op de nieuwe single toont Deerborn zijn meest intimistische Americana-gelaat. Warme blazers vervolledigen de harmonieuze, uitgebalanceerde arrangementen voor drums, bas, akoestische gitaar en toetsen en de stem van Lasse Nørby klinkt gebroken en sterk tegelijk.  

Zelf zegt die over de song“At its core the song is about not being able to figure out life. I think it is universally relatable that one's belonging in life can often progress a bit. Sometimes finding a stand can be difficult. That is why I have also found inspiration in the conditions under which homeless people live. They are the manifestation of the utmost consequence of not being able to figure out life. How different things and stimulants can be the wings you find to fly away from existence. "
