Nieuwe single en album voor The Dream Syndicate

Fire Records brengt op 10 juni 'Ultraviolet Battle Hymns And True Confessions' uit.

The Dream Syndicate gaat volgens het persbericht deze keer voor "krautrock, Eno-like ambience with a Neu-inspired rhythmic groove and Californian sun baked sheen woven into the their classic psychedelic, melodic, hue". Krijg daar maar eens een speld tussen. Steve Wynn legt uit: "It feels like an attempt--via the lyrics and the circular chord progression--to impose some kind of order and logic on a world that was severely lacking in both respects at the time." 

Naast de frontman zijn ook drummer Dennis Duck, bassist Mark Walton, leadgitarist Jason Victor en nieuwste bandlid Chris Cacavas (ooit nog Green On Red) op toetsen van de partij. Stephen McCarthy (The Long Ryders) en Marcus Tenney (sax en trompet) verleenden bijstand.
