Manic Street Preachers kondigt nieuw album aan

The wait is over! Manic Street Preachers heeft zonet een nieuw album aangekondigd. Met 'Resistance in Futile' is de band al toe aan zijn dertiende studioalbum. Over de plaat zeggen ze zelf het volgende:

"The main themes of 'Resistance is Futile' are memory and loss, forgotten history, confused reality and art as a hiding place and inspiration (...) After delay and difficulties getting started, the record has come together really quickly over the last few months through a surge of creativity and some old school hard work."

De plaat zal op 6 april volgend jaar verschijnen via Columbia/Sony.
