KOAN Sound brengt nieuw album uit

'Polychrome' volgt 'Forgotten Myths' op.

KOAN Sound heeft een nieuw album uit. Met 'Polychrome' doorbreekt het duo de stilte: het is de eerste release sinds 'Forgotten Myths' (2015). “Polychrome is the biggest project we’ve completed to date, both in terms of the amount of music we produced for the album and the complexity of the tracks themselves", zeggen ze daarover. “Our releases have been following this trend as we have become more ambitious with our music, and Polychrome is sort of the culmination of that ambition.”

KOAN Sound staat bekend om funky glitch hop, die in het verleden ook opgemerkt werd door OWSLA-baas Skrillex. 'Polychrome' is echter veel complexer, als een opgegroeide versie. Het is tevens een terugkeer naar de échte instrumenten. Zo krijgen piano en drums een grote hoofdrol. Beluister het cinematische album hieronder.
