Högni kondigt album aan

Nieuws uit de stal van Erased Tapes dat zijn tienjarig bestaan viert met een aardig feestje. Op 27 januari te zien in het Funkhaus in Berlijn: Anne Müller, Ben Lukas Boysen, Daniel Brandt (And Eternal Something), Lubomir Melnyk, Masoyoshi Fujita, Penguin Café (die nog maar pas hun 'Union Café' heruitgaven, waarover later meer) en Rival Consoles. Kortom: een festijn voor de liefhebber van de moderne, zachte piano- en elektronicamoods van het label. 

Maar er is ook ander nieuws te rapen. De Ijslandse componist en vocalist Högni (Hjaltalin, GusGus,..) geeft met Komdu Med een voorsmaakje van zijn debuut 'Two Trains'. Tekst en uitleg door Högni:  “The music on Two Trains is a blue-print of a period in my life where I collided with my own self, and at that point I felt the indifference between the personal and the universal, the absolute consciousness of life’s unconsciousness. Perhaps it’s a feeling that cannot be conveyed, like watercolours that just seem to wash off into the sea. But also a flashing mirage that you can enjoy before you arrive at your last destination."
