Gaan Rush-iconen Lee en Lifeson zonder Peart door?

Er is nogal wat te doen geweest omtrent het einde van Rush. En dat krijgt nu nog een staartje want want gitarist Alex Lifeson en zanger-bassist Geddy Lee zouden, naar verluidt, spelen met het idee om als duo door te gaan.

Fansite Cygnus-X1 liet namelijk weten dat de Amerikaanse radioamaker Eddie Trunk een hint zou gelost hebben als zou het duo onder de naam LeeLifeson verdergaan in een uitzending van The House of Blues in Houston.

Letterlijk zei hij het volgende: “I talked to Geddy a couple times… and Geddy told me he is actually reinvigorated. He told me at the time he made some changes to his diet which helped his voice…and he had a ton of energy, and he wanted to make music and continue in some way. Alex seems to be somewhere in the middle. Alex has said publicly he absolutely wants to do some stuff again. He's doing some producing, he's doing some writing.There has been talk about a band called LeeLifeson, which would be the two of them going out and doing stuff together.“
