Field Music op zoek naar grenzen van de taal

Na twee soloplaten gaan de broertjes Brewis terug aan de slag als band.

In 2021 verscheen 'Flat White Moon', de laatste plaat van Field Music, waarna Peter en David Brewis elk een eigen soloplaat uitbrachten. Op 4 oktober verschijnt er nu een nieuwe plaat van de band met als titel 'Limits Of Language'. De single uit de plaat, Six Weeks, Nine Wells kan je hieronder al beluisteren;

“We didn’t want to use the synths just as a nostalgic thumbprint. I hope that the approach was more Eno-esque than that. Exploring the capabilities of the machines” zegt Peter over 'Limits Of Language'. David voegt daaraan toe: “I think we’ve always been quite pure in our intentions as artists. We’ve never altered what we do for the sake of making money or chasing what other people like. And there’s not really any reward for doing that beyond getting to make the music you want to make. But what if after all that you can’t even make the music?”
