Eerste stream voor Napalm Death

Het moest er ooit van komen.

De afgelopen twee jaar hielden ze de boot nochtans vakkundig af, maar nu staat er een livestream van de koningen van de grindcorepunk, Napalm Death, op stapel. Toen het voorstel kwam om een concert met publiek te streamen, stemden ze dan toch toe. Op 18 maart kan je het optreden van Napalm Death in de Londense The Underworld dus streamen.

Tickets voor dit toch wel speciale evenement zijn te koop via Hotel Radio. De show blijft achtenveertig uur beschikbaar. 

Over de stream zelf wist Mark ‘Barney’ Greenway te vertellen: “The decision to do a live stream was not an immediate one. I think everybody knows that it became de rigeur during the various lockdowns to live stream from empty rooms with zero interaction – not for Napalm Death, really. So now the London Underworld comes into the picture post-lockdown, and the combination of fast noisy music, body odour and flailing limbs in that setting seemed irresistible for finally taking the live stream plunge. Equally pleasing that Hotel Radio came along to shoot it,  who were completely onboard with making the cost of access fair for interested people across the world. Hopefully it’ll melt your eyeballs – or at least make them really bloody sting.”
