Driedubbel live-vinyl van Jack White

Binnenkort is hij op Rock Werchter te zien, maar Jack White geeft u hieronder nu al de kans om een voorproefje daarop te nemen.

Want op 31 juli verschijnt er namelijk een live-album van de man onder de titel ‘Jack White Live In Nashville / Live In Detroit - Home And Away’. Die plaat maakt deel uit van de Vault subscription van Third Man Records

In het persbericht wordt de plaat als volgt omschreven: “In the spirit of the classic baseball "home-and-away" Vault package #37 highlights the momentous, tour-de-force set White unfurled in Nashville on March 16th and augments it with the unhinged Detroit performance a month later. Highlights include the raucous live debut of stadium anthem "Battle Cry", the frenetic, stinging guitar fight of "Over and Over and Over" and masterful crowd singalongs for White Stripes classics like "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground." As is par for the Vault, both of these shows are exemplary entries into the twenty-plus years of epic, life-affirming Jack White live performances.”

Opvallend is zeker het uitgesneden artwork, dat doet denken aan platen van Led Zeppelin en The Rolling Stones, om er maar twee te noemen. Bijgeleverd worden een aantal foto’s van de beide optredens en een vlag met het Jack White-logo.
