daPremière: de nieuwe clip van Panaviscope!

In oktober verwacht Panaviscope een nieuw album. Bekijk de video voor de derde single daaruit!

Vandaag bracht Panaviscope uit Zwitserland een fantastische en verbluffende nieuwe video uit voor zijn sinlge Sham. De single zal ook op ‘Like The Sun’ staan, het album dat uitkomt in oktober via How Bad Pretty Bad Records.

De single is op zich al geweldig, maar de clip met zijn vele spiegeleffecten maakt hem nog wat specialer. Sham gaat over wat je denkt te zien in anderen en over het beeld dat anderen volgens jou over jezelf hebben. Hij gaat ook over het beeld dat jij graag van jezelf zou hebben en over hoe jij zou willen dat andere zijn… Inderdaad, dus ook hier komt het idee van het spiegelbeeld in terug.

Alex Duloz regisseerde de clip zelf en hij zegt over de clip dit:  “The idea for the Sham-video was to bring out the flipside of the joyfulness you hear in the song. When you listen to the lyrics, you discover a dark side to the song. I went for a black-and-white aesthetic featuring landscapes in which catastrophic events take place – as if they were part of everyday life, as if everything were normal. After my previous video, Talking to flowers, I wanted to pursue my exploration of black-and-white images further, except with Sham. I went for a more classic look in terms of photography as this was more in line with the soundscape of the track. Panaviscope is as much a visual project as a musical one. Making my own videos is a way for me to determine the entire mood of the project.”
