Calexico brengt nieuw album naar De Roma

De Roma heeft laten weten dat Calexico langskomt.

De band stond al jaren op de wishlist en nu is het eindelijk zover: Calexico komt naar De Roma en brengt als voorprogramma The Mexican Institute Of Sound mee. Tickets voor dat concert, dat op 24 maart plaats vindt, zijn te koop vanaf morgenvroeg om 10u00.

En alsof dat alles nog niet genoeg is komt er begin 2018 ook nog een nieuw album aan. 'The Thread That Keeps Us' wordt de titel daarvan en de voorafgaande single uit het nieuwe album heet End Of The World.

“There’s a little more chaos and noise in the mix than what we’ve done in the past,” zei Joey Burns over het album album. “Whenever we’re writing and we come up with something that feels too familiar, someone will end up saying, ‘That feels good, but let’s keep going and see what else we can uncover,’” Burns explained. “It’s been really important to the arc of this band’s evolution for us to always keep on trying new things.”
