Bassist Pearl Jam lost solo-ep

Een verrassende release.

De bassist van Pearl Jam, Jeff Ament, heeft uit het niets een ep gedropt. 'American Death Squad' bestaat uit twee delen: een gitaarstuk en een pianostuk. De release, zo liet hij weten, ontstond toen de tour van de band (in het kader van 'Gigaton') werd uitgesteld door de coronacrisis. 

"Days of isolating and watching the news of the destruction courtesy the virus (and the ineptitude of our leadership or as named here, the American Death Squad) made for vivid dreams and a helplessness. These were some of the first songs out of the gate. Raw and succinct."
